Job summary

Scotiabank seeks an Assistant Branch Manager for the Toronto Plaza, to join ScotiaMcLeod within Wealth Management. In this role you will lead Advisor teams, drive day-to-day issue resolution, and support the Total Wealth Strategy adoption.

You will coach staff, manage performance, and partner with Wealth Specialists to deliver holistic client outcomes. You’ll ensure regulatory compliance and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the investment industry (Wealth Management/Financial Services).
• Approval as a Registered Representative (CIRO).
• CIRO Supervisor License is an asset.
• Coaching mindset with experience communicating a business strategy.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
• Previous management experience considered an asset.
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.

INTRODUCTION

As the Assistant Branch Manager you will be an integral member of the Branch Leadership team. You will contribute to the overall success of the branch and ensure a high level of client service is achieved through effective operations and administrative efficiencies.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

In this role you will:

DO YOU HAVE THE SKILLS

We’d love to work with you if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in the investment industry (Wealth Management/Financial Services)
• Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO)
• CIRO Supervisor License is an asset
• A coaching mindset with experience communicating a business strategy
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
• Previous management experience considered an asset
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
