The Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education invites applications for a Regular Full-time General Maintenance role based in Springhill, serving the Chignecto Family of Schools. The position requires multi-trade maintenance work and collaboration with staff to ensure safe and efficient school facilities.

Minimum requirements include Grade 12, 3+ years in construction or maintenance, a valid Nova Scotia driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; exposure to SAP is a plus.

Formación

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; trades training is an asset.
• Minimum 3 years in construction or maintenance.
• Valid NS driver’s license and ability to drive across the region.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods.
• Experience in an educational setting is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain records related to workplace inspections.
• Support property services policies and procedures.
• Perform semi-skilled to skilled maintenance tasks in basic trades.
• Assist with snow removal, lawn care, and grounds maintenance.
• Work from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with travel as needed.
