Job summary

Sea to Sky School District No.48 is seeking a temporary custodian at Howe Sound Secondary School. The role is 8 hours per day with a pay rate of $30.47 per hour, starting immediately through December 18, 2026, or until the incumbent returns.

Responsibilities include general cleaning, lifting furniture, changing lights, operating cleaning equipment, handling floor coatings, and maintaining building security.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 10 plus relevant courses/workshops and up to three months related experience.
• Knowledge of WHMIS and Worksafe BC safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of schools as assigned by the General Manager of Operations, including lifting of furniture, changing lights, operating motorized cleaning equipment, and ensuring building security.
