Job summary

The Halifax Regional Centre for Education is seeking a Custodian to support the Operations Services Department by maintaining clean, sanitary and attractive school facilities and buildings.

You will perform cleaning and maintenance duties in a professional, efficient and safe manner under the supervision of the Caretaker and Building Management Supervisor. This role may require day, evening or night shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50lbs to perform cleaning duties.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to work all shift schedules including day, evening and nights.
• Previous janitorial experience is an asset.
