Job summary

Rocky View Schools is seeking a dedicated Caretaker I to perform routine cleaning duties at Langdon School, Alberta. The role runs Monday to Friday after school hours with occasional 1-2 day shifts per month per the school year calendar.

Under supervision, you will maintain cleanliness and safety of facilities. The successful candidate will have prior cleaning experience (asset) and may hold cleaning certifications (asset).

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is an asset.
• Certifications from a cleaning organization are assets.
• Previous experience within a school division is an asset.
• An equivalent combination of Education and Experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Attention to detail related to varied and complex cleaning tasks
• Ability to work independently and perform tasks within a team environment
• Demonstrated pride in workmanship
• Performs building security checks as scheduled by the Head Building Operator
• Experience working with Occupational Health & Safety, WHMIS and relevant legislation
