Job summary

Rocky View Schools (RVS) is seeking a part-time Caretaker I for Nose Creek Elementary in Airdrie to perform routine cleaning after school hours, Monday to Friday, with 1–2 extra shifts per month. The role starts immediately and supports a safe, clean learning environment.

You will work collaboratively with staff to ensure quality workmanship, follow safety guidelines, and maintain clean school facilities in alignment with the school calendar.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is an asset.
• Certifications from cleaning organization is considered an asset.
• Previous experience within a school division is considered an asset.
• An equivalent combination of Education and Experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Attention to detail related to varied and complex cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work independently and perform assigned tasks within a team environment.
• Demonstrated pride in workmanship.
• Keeps assigned sidewalks, steps, and entrances free from ice and snow.
• Performs building security checks as scheduled by the Head Building Operator.
• Experience working in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety, WHMIS and other relevant legislation.

The Opportunity

RVS is currently seeking applications for a continuing, part‑time (20 hrs/week) Caretaker I position to provide routine cleaning duties at Nose Creek Elementary School starting immediately with Monday to Friday after school hours with the exception of 1-2 day shifts per month (as per School Year Calendar).
