Job summary

Rocky View Schools is seeking a dedicated Caretaker I to perform routine cleaning duties at Langdon School, Alberta. The role runs Monday to Friday after school hours with occasional 1-2 day shifts per month per the school year calendar.

Under supervision, you will maintain cleanliness and safety of facilities. The successful candidate will have prior cleaning experience (asset) and may hold cleaning certifications (asset).

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is an asset.
• Certifications from a cleaning organization are assets.
• Previous experience within a school division is an asset.
• An equivalent combination of Education and Experience may be considered.

The Opportunity

RVS is currently seeking applications for a continuing, full-time (40 hrs/week) Caretaker I position to provide routine cleaning duties at Langdon School starting immediately. Monday to Friday after school hours with the exceptionof 1-2 day shifts per month (as per School Year Calendar).Under the supervision of the Head Building Operator and Building Operator, the Caretaker I providescaretaking services at their assigned Rocky View Schools (RVS) facilities. The Caretaker I is responsiblefor the housekeeping of school buildings, maintaining contents and furnishings in good appearance and inclean, tidy, sanitary condition, as assigned by their supervisor.
