Prairie Valley School Division seeks a dedicated bus driver to provide safe transport to and from school and related activities. You will work as part of a team, ensuring safe passenger handling, adherence to traffic laws, and positive student behaviour support.

The role requires a Saskatchewan Class 1-5 license, a School Bus Endorsement, and a current driver’s abstract. A medical exam and First Aid may be required, with benefits including health coverage and a pension plan.

Formación

• Must hold and maintain a valid Saskatchewan Class 1-5 Driver's License.
• Must hold a valid School Bus Endorsement; training available for non-licensed drivers.
• Clear driver’s abstract with SGI records for last 5 years must be submitted with application.
• Satisfactory medical examinations per The Highway Traffic Act.
• First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain it at district expense.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe and efficient transportation to and from school and activities.
• Work as part of a team to support growth and development of children and youth.
• Comply with CUPE agreement and school district policies.
• Unload and assist students, including those in wheelchairs, as required.
