Job summary

Elliott Coach Lines, a division of Student Transportation of Canada, is growing and seeking caring, qualified drivers to join our team—drivers like our amazing current team. No experience? If you love driving and working with children, this is a great fit with a flexible part-time schedule.

We offer on-going training to obtain a Class-B license for free. Work is Monday to Friday, with summers and holidays off, and steps to make a positive difference in the lives of local children.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class-G driver's license.
• We will train you for FREE to obtain a Class-B license if needed.
• You should enjoy driving and working with children.

Responsibilities

• Pick up school-aged passengers from predetermined locations and drop them off at school in the morning; do the reverse in the afternoon.
• Work Monday–Friday with a Sept–June schedule and summers off; hours typically around 7:00–9:30 am and 2:00–4:30 pm depending on route.

What do School Bus Drivers do?

It's pretty simple, in the morning we pick up school aged passengers from predetermined locations and then deliver them to school. In the afternoon, we do the exact same thing, just in reverse order; we take them from school back home (once again at predetermined locations).

School Bus Drivers operate Monday - Friday, from September until the end of June...that's right, summers off. Depending upon your specific route, you could work anywhere from 7:00 am - 9:30 am then again in the afternoon from about 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm.

Who can do this job?
