Job summary

The Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board invites applications for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). The successful candidate will assess and treat students with speech, language, literacy and communication challenges to support academic and personal potential, under Ontario standards.

This is a temporary, full-time role from Sept 2026 to June 30, 2028 at the Catholic Education Centre in Dublin, Ontario.

Qualifications

• Masters degree required in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario.
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience, preferably in an educational or public sector setting.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, assessment, and intervention for students with speech and language needs.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and coordinators to support communication programs.
• Enhance student access, participation, and inclusion in the curriculum.
• Develop individualized communication and literacy materials.
• Model and implement speech, language, and communication facilitation strategies.
• Engage with external agencies and families to coordinate services.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per policies and standards.
• Collect and report student data to inform program recommendations.
• Uphold professional standards and confidentiality.
