Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent and CASLPO in good standing.
• Minimum of six (6) years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a strong client and quality service focus.
• Experience in a multi-disciplinary setting with intervention strategies for youth with various communicative disorders.
• Evidence of strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop, recommend, support and provide direct programming for students with communication delay or disorder; monitor progress.
• Assess communication difficulties and summarize reports with results and recommendations.
• Provide recommendations to principals and to the Superintendent for system approaches for speech and language needs.
• Present reports and participate in case conferences to explain assessment results and implications.
