Job summary

York Catholic District School Board is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (OSSTF) for a one (1) temporary full-time position (35 hpw) effective immediately through June 30, 2027. The role involves assessing and treating students with communication needs, collaborating with school teams, and maintaining records in line with department procedures.

OSA/Speech Language Pathology qualifications require active COSLP Ontario status and four years of experience with children in clinical or school

Qualifications

• Member in good standing with the College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario.
• Four years of experience working with children in a clinic or school environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessment/screening and identify communication and literacy needs with recommendations.
• Collaborate with educator teams and multidisciplinary members to set goals.
• Complete referrals to community agencies as required.
• Provide professional development and in-service training.
• Provide consultative support, demonstrations and modeling to school teams.
