CAMH is seeking a Scheduling Clerk (CSSO) for a full-time, temporary (1 year) role to support inpatient units, the Emergency Department, and Support Services with staffing needs. Typical shifts include 0600-1400, 0900-1700, and 1600-0000, with 2 of 3 shifts and 3 weekends out of 6.
Responsibilities include filling gaps on posted schedules, coordinating with the CSSO team, and ensuring safe, cost-efficient staffing under collective agreements and CAMH policies.
The CSSO serves all inpatient units, the Emergency Department, and Support Services (i.e., Food and Nutrition Services, Environmental Services, Security Services) with their staffing and scheduling needs. With a robust team operating from 0600-0000, 7 days per week, the CSSO supports staffing and scheduling activities across the hospital, working closely with staff and leaders to ensure unit and department needs are met, all while using a brand-new scheduling application (HIVE).

Reporting to the CSSO Manager and the Clinical Operations Coordination Leader, the full-time, temporary (1 year) Scheduling Clerk will play an integral role in ensuring that all in-scope unit/departments are staffed in an operationally safe and cost-efficient manner at all times. They will focus on filling shift gaps on posted schedules, administrative exchanges, and call-outs to staff to cover short-notice absences, in accordance to the OPSEU and ONA Collective Agreements, CAMH policies, and legislation as applicable.

Please note that, at the time of hire, the successful applicant(s) will work a master schedule that includes 2 of the 3 above shifts. They will also be scheduled for 3 weekends out of 6.
$28.41 - $32.72 per hour
