Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Montreal East, Quebec, is seeking a motivated Scale Clerk to join our team Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You will weigh materials, produce weigh tickets, and respond to customers while maintaining accurate records.

Candidates should have experience in a similar role, be proficient with MS Office, hold a valid driver’s license and enjoy working in a busy, team-oriented environment with reliable transportation between locations.

• Organized, responsible, independent and resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous service upon arrival.
• Weigh trucks and enter information into the system.
• Prepare delivery slips and shipping documents in the software.
• Answer phone calls and redirect requests as needed.
• Track material shipments and produce required reports.
• Perform general office tasks (opening customer accounts, filing, billing, etc.).
• Provide coverage at our Laval branch as needed.
