Domtar's Atikokan Sawmill in Ontario is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to lead a team of staff, operators and contractors in a safe, productive operation. This full-time permanent role reports to the Sawmill Manager, focusing on maximizing quality and production while controlling downtime.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in an industrial setting with a technologist or trades certification, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with CMMS and MS Office.

Formación

• Engineering technologist or trades certification required.
• 5–8 years in an industrial environment with leadership progression.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams.
• Proficient with CMMS and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Lead safety standards for sawmill operations.
• Provide leadership, coaching and maintain positive employee relations.
• Plan, schedule and supervise maintenance and capital work.
• Utilize CMMS for work orders, schedules and equipment data.
• Inspect equipment and oversee contractor work to ensure quality.
• Control expenditures within department budget.
• Ensure availability of parts and tools for execution.
• Enforce health and safety policies for staff and contractors.
