Job summary

EnerCorp Engineered Solutions in Grande Prairie, AB, is hiring a Sub Arc Welder to join our fabrication team. You will operate SAW equipment, set up parameters per WPS, read fabrication drawings, and ensure weld quality and traceability.

The role requires reading welding symbols, maintaining records, and supporting NDE activities while mentoring apprentices. This full-time, on-site position offers a strong benefits package and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Interprovincial Red Seal endorsement is an asset.
• ABSA Machine Welding Operator Certificate with PQ card is preferred.
• WPS and drawings interpretation experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate submerged arc welding equipment to weld pressure vessels and structural components.
• Read fabrication drawings, weld maps, and WPS; set up parameters per WPS.
• Maintain weld traceability, perform visual inspection, and report defects.
• Support NDE activities and assist apprentices as needed.
• Maintain SAW equipment and ensure safe, clean work area.
