Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an SAP SCM Analyst to support a large mining company on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. This hands-on, business-facing role focuses on SAP MM, P2P, materials planning, and Coupa-to-SAP integration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP Supply Chain experience with strong SAP MM and P2P knowledge.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Experience as a functional or business-facing SAP analyst.
• Experience with Coupa or Ariba.
• Experience gathering requirements, functional documentation, testing, UAT, and ticket resolution.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain, Procurement, inventory, and materials planning processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Coupa experience, ideally with SAP integration.
• SAP EWM or Ariba experience.
• Experience with MRP, min/max levels, and inventory replenishment.
• Mining, energy, or other asset-intensive industry experience.
• Exposure to SAP technical configuration.

Responsibilities

• Resolve support tickets for SAP SCM and related modules.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specs.
• Create functional documentation and manage enhancements.
• Perform QA testing and support UAT.
• Coordinate with AMS partner and technical teams during sustainment of SAP S/4HANA.

Insight Global is seeking an SAP SCM Analyst to support a large mining company on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. This individual will act as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and Procurement users, technical teams, and the AMS partner, supporting a recently implemented SAP S/4HANA environment as it transitions from hypercare into sustainment. Key responsibilities include resolving support tickets, gathering business requirements, creating functional documentation, managing enhancements, conducting QA testing, and supporting UAT.

This is a hands‑on, business‑facing functional role with a strong focus on SAP MM, P2P, materials planning, and Coupa-to-SAP integration. The role requires working on-site five days per week and travelling to the Fernie/Sparwood area approximately one week per month.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of SAP Supply Chain experience with strong SAP MM and P2P knowledge
