Job description

Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking a full-time permanent SAP Functional Analyst to support and enhance their SAP S/4HANA environment. This is a hands‑on SAP support and enhancement role focused on supporting integrated business processes across Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, and Finance within a live S/4HANA manufacturing environment.

Location: Hybrid – Burlington, ON

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot SAP business processes across SD, MM, and FICO modules in a live S/4HANA manufacturing environment
• Resolve production support issues, manage user tickets, perform root cause analysis, and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Support integrated Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay, and financial processes
• Collaborate with cross‑functional business and technical teams to support operational stability and enhancements
• Gather and translate business requirements into SAP functional solutions
• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and deployment validation
• Assist with enhancements, configuration updates, and process improvements
• Support EDI/IDOC troubleshooting and integration activities
• Provide user support, documentation, training, and knowledge transfer

Requirements

• 5+ years of SAP functional experience across SD, MM, and/or FICO
• Experience supporting live SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments
• Strong understanding of integrated SAP business processes
• Experience supporting production incidents, troubleshooting, and enhancements
• Understanding of integration points between SD, MM, PP, and FICO
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Ability to operate independently in a lean support environment with a high degree of ownership
• Experience working in AMS/support environments with SLA‑driven ticket management
