High Cliff Partners Inc. on behalf of a Montreal-based client seeks an experienced SAP Master Data Analyst for a 1-year engagement, with potential extension. The role focuses on vendor data in ECC and S/4HANA, including BP and CVI conversions.

You will own data governance, interfaces, and supplier integrations using IDocs, APIs, and middleware, and must be proficient in SQL for profiling and reconciliation. This is fully remote.

Qualifications

• 5+ years SAP master data experience focusing on vendor data
• Led at least one S/4HANA BP and CVI conversion from readiness to cutover
• Strong BP configuration knowledge: groupings, roles, number ranges, field controls
• Experience with supplier data integrations using IDocs, APIs, and middleware
• Proficient in SQL for profiling and reconciliation
• Comfortable working in a fully remote setting

• Data Quality Rules & Governance Controls using enterprise tools
• Interface Monitoring & Error-Handling Standards across middleware
• Implementation Partner Review Standards with design evaluations and test sign-offs

Job description

Our Montreal based client is seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Analyst to join their project immediately and will run for 1 year, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have 5+ yrs of SAP master data experience focused on vendor/supplier data in ECC and S/4HANA, and has led at least one full S/4HANA Business Partner and CVI conversion for suppliers from readiness through cutover should know BP config cold: groupings, roles, number ranges, field control, relationships, and CVI mapping. Along with supplier management hands-on experience. And have built or governed supplier integrations using IDocs, APIs, and middleware, can diagnose payloads, and understand EDI transaction sets and their master data dependencies. They are proficient in SQL for profiling and reconciliation. This will be a fully remote work setting.

Key Responsibilities

• System-of-Record Rules & Integration Specs – Field-level ownership guidelines across Jaggaer SLM, S/4HANA, and downstream systems, including interface specifications and API integrations.
• Target-State Supplier Data Models & BP Design – S/4HANA Business Partner groupings, roles, number ranges, and mapping back to legacy vendor structures.
• CVI Readiness & Conversion Strategy – Execution plans for Customer-Vendor Integration, MDS_LOAD_COCKPIT synchronization, and post-conversion error resolution.
• Supplier Master Data Migration Strategy – Cleansing guidelines, deduplication logic, mock-load schedules, reconciliation frameworks, and cutover acceptance criteria for ECC-to-S/4HANA.
• Data Quality Rules & Governance Controls – Thresholds and profiling definitions for critical supplier elements, embedded in enterprise tools like Collibra, Snowflake, or SAP Information Steward.
• Interface Monitoring & Error-Handling Standards – Operating procedures for exception handling, payload diagnosis, and automated reprocessing across integration middleware.
• Implementation Partner Review Standards – Formal design evaluations, mapping spec validations, and test result sign-offs to hold external vendors accountabilities.

Preferred qualifications

• SAP certification in S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement or Master Data.
• Experience with enterprise data governance tools and process automation.
• SAP BP function implementation experience.
• CDMP or equivalent data management certification.
• Manufacturing, multi-entity, multi-country procurement.
• Jaggaer SLM preferred Platform experience. (Open to other SLM Platfforms)
