Job description

SAP Functional Consultant

Duration: 12+ months (extendable contract)

Location: Regina, SK_ Hybrid (2 days onsite/week)

RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):

• Work closely with clients to understand their business processes, needs, and requirements.
• Translate requirements into SAP system configurations.
• Ensure customizations align with the organization’s specific needs.
• Document program settings and create guidelines for future consultants working on the software.
• Train company employees on SAP software usage, providing guidelines for efficient utilization.
• Test system performance and efficiency; manage support tickets related to SAP issues.
• Provide daily support for configuration, maintenance, research, and development of the SAP system, including planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of configuration changes.
• Enhance system components based on client requests or specifications.
• Document configurations, business requirements, functional and technical specifications, business processes, and blueprinting for solutions.
• Lead the development of new solutions within the SAP landscape.
• Collaborate with SAP developers to create custom applications tailored to client needs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Relevant SAP functional training/certification.
• Proven record of continuous improvement.
• Technical aptitude combined with relevant business experience.
• 3–5 years of SAP experience, including implementation, upgrade, support, and maintenance.
