Position Purpose

The SAP Functional Consultant ensures that SAP systems align with business processes by analyzing requirements, configuring SAP modules, and optimizing workflows. They bridge the gap between business users and technical teams, ensuring smooth implementation, customization and support of SAP solutions. Their goal is to enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and maximize the value of SAP software for JCB’s organization.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

• Support both Savannah and San Antonio with existing SAP solutions.
• Answer help desk que calls and ‘how do I query’.
• Improve KPI reporting.
• Assist in proposing solutions to new business requirements.
• Provide functional input to business processes, issues and enhancements.
• Provide process mapping and writing of functional specifications and testing.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-5 years total SAP experience consisting of core competency in PP/QM configuration/process.
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions.
• Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP VMS (Vehicle Management System), GATP (Global Available to Promise) would be an advantage.
• Ability to debug code.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Comfortable in an in-person office environment.
• Technical competence is a plus.
• Must be customer service oriented, flexible, and have a high energy level.
• Must have excellent follow-through skills.
• Must have a professional, polished, and sophisticated demeanor and be comfortable in most social settings.
• Must be open to domestic and international travel.
• Desire and proven ability to learn and grow.

Job Conditions

• Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment.
• Subject to noise and temperature changes.
