What is the opportunity?

Retail Credit Engineering and Innovation is looking for a talented and passionate SAP Functional Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will lead discussions to help teams complete deliverables throughout the entire project lifecycle. The primary system you will work with is SAP CRM and its interfacing systems. You will collaborate with IT, Operations, and business stakeholders to align business objectives with technological solutions. The Senior Functional Consultant is a key leader within a project team comprising application architects, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

Job Summary & Description

This role involves assessing, analyzing, and documenting business and system needs, recommending solutions, and leading the development and integration of project features into a complex landscape. You will collaborate with team members to complete deliverables such as Functional Specifications, Data Mapping, Impact Analysis, and Training Guides. You will drive system enhancements, primarily in SAP CRM, through configurations and collaboration with technical teams. Mentoring junior consultants and providing leadership to manage issues and influence technical directions are also key responsibilities.

What will you do?

• Partner with stakeholders to analyze needs and lead the integration of solutions.
• Complete project deliverables including specifications, data mapping, and impact analysis.
• Configure and enhance SAP CRM systems, collaborating with technical teams.
• Develop configurable solutions to reduce complexity and time-to-market.
• Mentor junior consultants and collaborate with experts to broaden system knowledge.
• Provide leadership to manage issues and influence technical project directions.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence technical directions.
• 4-7 years of experience as a Functional Lead working with SAP CRM.
• Experience with at least two full project lifecycles.
• Knowledge of SAP CRM basic configurations.
• Familiarity with requirements gathering, business process modeling, and user interface design.
• Extensive knowledge of business applications such as Netweaver, CRM, and related systems.

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Experience in the financial industry.
• Knowledge of various implementation methodologies like Agile, RUP, Waterfall.
• Experience with SAP BRF+.
