Job summary

Our client in Canada is seeking a Quality Assurance Technical Analyst with hands-on application testing and automation experience. The role involves developing test plans, creating test data, scripting, execution, and defect management across COTS, in-house apps, MuleSoft APIs, and third-party integrations.

The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders, review BA documents, and provide status updates throughout test cycles.

Qualifications

• Candidate has experience as a software tester in an application development environment.
• Experience writing test cases from requirements, processes and designs.
• Experience testing REST APIs via Postman or similar tools.
• Experience with JIRA and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with automated testing tools and approaches.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans and test data.
• Create and execute test scripts; perform test execution and defect logging.
• Coordinate defect management and reporting across multiple teams.
• Support automated testing efforts and integrate with CI/CD where possible.
• Interact with stakeholders and review BA documents for test inputs.
