DECIEM | THE ABNORMAL BEAUTY COMPANY is seeking a Sanitation Associate for night shift at our Etobicoke manufacturing facility. The role focuses on maintaining GMP standards and cleanliness in the compounding area, with hours from 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM.

The position offers a base hourly pay between 19.00 and 20.00 CAD per hour with compensation dependent on experience, skills, and budget. Location is Etobicoke, Ontario, at 123 Eastside Drive Manufacturing Facility.

Mansioni

• Clean the compounding area as the primary duty.
• Perform routine cleaning including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors; dusting, washing walls, doors, and windows; and emptying trash as assigned by the Master Cleaning Schedule.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Report major repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Keep all areas free of debris such as wood fragments, pallet wrap, labels, and paper.
• Read chemical labels or SDS to learn how to properly handle chemicals.
• Ensure standards for quality and health and safety are met.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse cleanliness and tidiness standards.
• Perform other custodial duties as assigned by the Manager.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Sanitation Associate to help maintain GMP standards and cleanliness in the compounding area.

This is a full-time role based out of our 123 Eastside Drive Manufacturing Facility in Etobicoke.

This is a night shift position between 11:30 PM and 7:30 AM.

PAY RANGE

The anticipated base hourly pay for this position is $19.00 to $ 20.00 per hour.

Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

• The primary responsibility is cleaning the compounding area.
• Perform routine cleaning including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors; dusting, washing walls, doors, and windows; and emptying trash as assigned by the Master Cleaning Schedule
• Perform minor preventative maintenance and minor repairs
• Reports major repairs and maintenance as needed
• Keeps all areas free of debris such as wood fragments, pallet wrap, labels, and paper
• Responsible for dismantling, sanitizing, and setting up equipment; ensure all safety requirements are met, including WHMIS and lockout/tag-out procedure precautions; dispense the chemicals in their proper containers
• Responsible for reading chemical labels or Material data safety data sheets to learn how to properly handle chemicals
• Ensure standards for quality and health and safety are met
• Assist in maintaining warehouse standards of cleanliness and organization and ensure tidiness standards are always respected and maintained
• Perform other custodial duties as assigned by the Manager
