Job summary

DECIEM, The Abnormal Beauty Company, is seeking a Pre-weigh Technician for the Etobicoke manufacturing facility. This full-time night shift role operates from 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM, handling raw materials with careful weighing, labeling, and GMP-compliant processes.

You will manage material transfer, FIFO practices, accurate documentation, and strict safety protocols, contributing to a clean, efficient pre-weigh area with ongoing housekeeping and calibration duties.

Responsibilities

• Pick accurate and approved raw materials from the warehouse as per picklist.
• Dispense by weighing, filling, and labeling individual Raw Materials or Mass as required and directed by the RDS Pre-Weigh system prompting and according to GMP procedures.
• Transferring raw materials from large containers to smaller containers based on low volumes. This process is executed according to GMP-compliant procedures.
• Ability to follow FIFO and follow all safety procedures while wearing required PPE (respirators, face shields, eyeglasses, etc.) and report any workplace injuries or accidents
• Document all information such as lot codes, scale numbers accurately on picklists and on batch sheets or in the system as required
• Report any discrepancies of RM-related issues such as shortages, cross-contamination, etc. and ensure the overall integrity of chemicals
• Create labels for all pre-weighed RM while ensuring accuracy
• Stage pre-weighed RM on skids, racks, or at other designated areas. Follow all GMP and SOP procedures and documentation of C&S logs, housekeeping logs, and other log sheets as required
• Maintain general housekeeping of pre-weigh rooms
• Responsible for performing calibration checks for the scales used in pre-weigh rooms

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Pre-weigh Technician to help process and ready batches for the compounding day shift team. This is a full-time role based out of our 123 Eastside Drive Manufacturing Facility in Etobicoke. This is a night shift position between 11:30 PM and 7:30 AM.

PAY RANGE

The anticipated base hourly pay for this position is $20.00 to 21.00 an hour. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
