Qualifications

AMA Global Foods is a prominent importer and distributor of grocery products in Western Canada. As exclusive distributors for renowned brands like TATA Consumer Products, Mr. Makhana, Roasty Tasty, and Casablanca, we work closely with hundreds of restaurants and grocery stores to meet their diverse needs.

Role Description

We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Salesperson to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building long-term relationships with clients, and representing our exclusive brands across their assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, including grocery stores, restaurants, and food service providers.
  • Promote and sell a wide portfolio of grocery products, including exclusive brand offerings.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the territory.
  • Educate customers on product offerings, promotions, and industry trends.
  • Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and feedback using CRM tools.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in food distribution or FMCG.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and build strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Knowledge of South Asian grocery products is an asset.
