Job summary
Slalom is seeking a Salesforce Developer to solve complex problems on the Salesforce platform. You will handle custom development, integrations, and data migration, while leveraging AI-assisted engineering and a strong focus on quality.
You will work in a hybrid environment in Montreal, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Must have 3+ years SFDC experience, certifications preferred, and excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Salesforce platform experience.
- Proven ability to develop and optimize integrated business processes across disparate systems.
- Understanding of Salesforce Sales/Service/Experience Cloud and AppExchange solutions.
- Configuration experience using Salesforce UI.
- Ability to perform automated testing and write unit tests.
- Knowledge of E2E Salesforce development lifecycle and collaboration with engineers.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP/Metadata).
- Front-end development with Lightning Web Components.
- Knowledge of integrations and ETL with Salesforce.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Einstein and Salesforce AI capabilities.
- CI/CD for Salesforce services and processes.
- Excellent client-facing written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.

You are a Salesforce Developer with experience solving complex problems on the Salesforce platform. As a Salesforce developer, you have knowledge of the technical domains of Salesforce, including the various cloud platforms, programmatic development, declarative solutioning, and integrations. You are passionate about building hands-on technical implementations. You are a self-driven individual with a "get it done" attitude and a passion to solve complex business and technology problems.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products
- Participate in technical design sessions; develop technical solution documentation aligned with the business objectives
- Develop, test, and document custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation
- Utilize AI-driven accelerated engineering framework to deliver high productivity during project implementations
- Develop custom solutions and interfaces on top of the Salesforce platform
- Execute test plans to ensure quality delivery
- Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews during projects to ensureappropriate designpatterns are followed
- Provide estimates and work breakdown structures for assigned tasks
- Absorb new product and technical capabilities from Salesforce during new product releases and acquisitions
- 3+ years Salesforce platform experience
- Proven ability to develop and optimize integrated business processes across disparate systems
- Understanding of the Salesforce platform including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and common AppExchange solutions
- Configuration experience using the Salesforce point-and-click application interface
- Ability to perform automated testing and write unit tests
- Understanding of the E2E lifecycle of Salesforce development, collaborating with multiple engineers
- Knowledge of and experience using AI-enabled engineering approaches for enhancing Salesforce platform implementation
- Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP/Metadata, etc.)
- Front-end development experience with Lightning Web Components
- Knowledge of integrations, 3rd-party integration tools, ETL with Salesforce
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, database design, and software development lifecycle
- Experience in Agile Methodology
- Experience and exposure in Einstein and Salesforce AI product capabilities
- Experience in CI/CD Salesforce services and processes
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally either on a team or as an individual contributor
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire

We are hybrid, but there are expectations that if your team leader or client requires you onsite, you are able to meet those expectations/requirements
Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
For a Consultant, the expected base salary range is $95,000 to $115,000. In addition, there is potential for a 8% discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will depend upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
For a Senior Consultant, the expected base salary range is $113,000 to $138,000. In addition, there is potential for a 10% discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will depend upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
