Job summary

TekStaff IT Solutions' client in Toronto, ON is seeking a Salesforce Developer for a 10-month contract located in Toronto with a hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days in-office). The role requires 8+ years of Salesforce development experience, Service Cloud expertise, and strong API integration skills.

Responsibilities include translating complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions, building and supporting integrations via REST/SOAP, and collaborating with a solution

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Salesforce development experience with enterprise-scale implementations.
• Significant experience with Service Cloud.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Apex development, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events and integration patterns.
• Experience building and supporting Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and role hierarchy.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated deployments, and DevOps practices.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and Jira-based project management.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• Significant experience working within a Big 5 Bank or equivalent financial institution.
• 8+ years of Salesforce development experience with enterprise-scale implementations.
• Extensive experience with:
  • Service Cloud
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
  • Apex Development
  • SOQL/SOSL
  • Platform Events and Integration Patterns
• Experience building and supporting Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and role hierarchy.
