Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Sales Support Specialist manages customer relationships and supports marketing initiatives to enhance client growth and brand visibility. This hybrid role involves account management, supporting marketing campaigns, and assisting sales administration. The role collaborates with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience from onboarding to retention, while also contributing to lead generation and market research.

Account Management (Primary)
  • Act as a primary contact for client accounts, maintaining proactive communication.
  • Monitor client health, engagement, and renewal timelines; identify risks and opportunities.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, coordinating with sales and support teams.
  • Document interactions and feedback in CRM systems.
  • Support ongoing relationship management and internal responses to client needs.
Marketing Coordination (Primary)
  • Support planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials.
  • Conduct industry and competitor research to inform strategies.
  • Coordinate promotional events and webinars.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports.
Sales Administration (Supportive)
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Assist with processing sales documentation and monitoring performance indicators.
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • At least 3 years in client-facing roles like account management or sales support.
  • Experience in B2B environments, preferably in software or tech industries.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
  • Experience with marketing campaigns and data analysis is a plus.
