Job summary

Cascadia Metals Ltd. in Edmonton is seeking a Sales Support Representative to join our Edmonton office in a permanent, full-time role. We are looking for a driven team member who shares our champion's mindset and values, with a strong work ethic and passion to be part of the team.

The role focuses on data entry, order monitoring, and ensuring timely delivery. You will support inventory coordination, communicate with customers, and help maintain accurate records and POD documentation.

Qualifications

• A post-secondary degree is preferred.
• A self-starter
• exceptional communication and organizational skills
• A "How Can I Help?" attitude
• Some experience in customer service and sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data entry for sales orders and completing periodic system updates (e.g., quarterly pricing updates, coil tag date maintenance, and reserving new tags to blanket orders)
• Monitoring the status of incoming inventory, including interbranch transfers, to ensure timely receipt for order fulfillment
• Following up on customer orders to ensure they are completed and delivered on time; identifying potential issues in advance and notifying the team to prevent delays
• Recording and tracking order delivery statistics
• Obtaining proof of delivery (POD) from internal teams or third-party carriers and providing documentation to customers as required
• Supporting the Inventory Coordinator by monitoring vessel ETAs and communicating any significant changes
• Coordinating inbound container shipments with the Edmonton warehouse, including tracking location and status during final transit and ensuring timely arrival for offloading
• Updating receiving records once inventory is received from container shipments

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 CAD depending on experience
