Our client is looking to bring on a Sales Support & Program Coordinator for their new location in Edmonton, AB. Although this role is based out of Edmonton, travel to the Calgary and Red Deer locations (monthly) and the Saskatoon location (every 2 months) will also be required.

This role will be responsible for providing training and new product knowledge to the in-store sales teams, as well as connecting with them on a regular basis to manage and offer support as needed. They will participate in marketing strategies, setting sales goals/initiatives, and ensuring all teams are knowledgeable and effective brand ambassadors.

The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter and possess exceptional communication and relationship building skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for all in-store sales representatives spanning over seven branches
  • Fostering the relationship with the main account stakeholder and contributing to the overall success of the company
  • Providing training and new product knowledge to the sales teams, motivating and offering support when needed
  • Participating in marketing strategies, setting sales goals/initiatives, and ensuring all teams are knowledgeable and effective brand ambassadors
  • Visiting locations in Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer and Saskatoon to ensure sales teams are on track to meet and exceed sales goals/targets
  • Representing the brand at networking events as needed (trade shows, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Post-secondary education in business or marketing is preferred

Qualifications:

  • Successfully complete a Criminal Background Check
  • Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
  • Valid passport, travel to US may be required
  • Willingness to travel to Calgary, Red Deer and Saskatoon locations
  • Proficiency with MS Office

Experience:

  • Proven experience in B2C sales and or retail management is required
  • Knowledge of marketing and sales strategies
  • Previous experience in water treatment is considered an asset

Base Salary:$55,000+ base salary & bonus

Work Hours:

  • Full time hours
  • Tuesday – Saturday
  • 9AM – 5PM

Remote Work:

  • This position is not remote and required to be on-site.
