The Safety Sales Specialist role involves collaborative efforts and independent initiatives. You will work closely with Key Account Managers, engage with suppliers, and conduct solo sales calls to promote our safety products and services. This position requires a strategic approach to hunting for new opportunities and farming existing accounts to maximize customer satisfaction and sales growth.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop quality prospects within the TENAQUIP business model and create expansion strategies to penetrate existing high-potential accounts;
  • Establish and maintain relationships at all levels within the accounts;
  • Schedule and conduct joint calls with suppliers and Key Account Managers, and perform independent sales calls and surveys;
  • Plan and schedule customer seminars and other sales support activities to drive growth;
  • Utilize TENAQUIP's solution selling programs to develop existing accounts;
  • Maintain detailed weekly records of customer interactions and development activities in our CRM system;
  • Continuously grow product knowledge and sales skills;
  • Achieve annual sales growth targets.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of industrial outside sales experience;
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills;
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills;
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle;
  • Certified training in areas such as confined space entry, fall arrest, respiratory training, fit testing, spill control, flammable storage, emergency shower & eye wash, lockout / tag-out, etc., is a definite asset.
