Roofmart, Canada’s national distributor for exterior building supply for roofing, siding, metal and building envelope, seeks a Sales Specialist to develop and manage customer relationships with contractors, architects and other clients. You will define and execute strategic sales plans, collaborate with suppliers, educate customers, and drive growth with a company vehicle and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the roofing industry is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem solver with the ability to handle difficult situations.
• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Ability to travel.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing relationships with existing and new customers to increase sales of Company products.
• Growing new business and expanding market share by providing solutions for the needs of current and future contractors, architects and customers.
• Defining, building, implementing and monitoring Sales Plan, including sales strategies, targets, and priorities.
• Creating action plans for defined sales targets and working with our suppliers to execute the plans.
• Educating customers and staff on products; managing customer sample & educational stock levels.
• Managing customer payments & credit in coordination with credit managers, including collections, credit recommendations, and AR adjustments within set rules.
