Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for an Inside Sales Representative to place at our client, within Enterprise Home Services.

Role Overview :

  • B2B Commercial Contact Centre
  • Support commercial and property management companies across Canada. As customers – communication has to be 9 / 10 – 10 / 10.
  • Inquiries related to service requests, reporting moves, billing inquiries and new products / services.
  • High urgency and response time required for large national franchise restaurants, hotels, retirement homes etc.
  • 4-hour response time to have a technician / contractor onsite to address any service concerns.
  • Will get involved in helping to source various types of replacement equipment to ensure our customers have heat / cooling / hot water restored.
  • High level of urgency and professionalism required. Our customers are running a business and the result of our equipment not working might require them to close temporarily (i.e. restaurant and no hot water).

Responsibilities :

  • Take inbound phone calls from customers and help support mail inboxes.
  • Smaller crew during later evening shifts – need to be able to work independently once fully trained and gain experience (support is available if required).
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., workforce planning, operations, sales) to resolve issues.

Skills and Background :

  • Call center experience is beneficial.
  • Critical thinking, urgency, and adaptability are key.
  • Computer knowledge is essential.
  • Ability to think outside the box to ensure customer satisfaction while still meeting company needs.
  • Training in the office / hotel located 2 buildings down the street.
  • Hybrid policy after 6 months if meeting objectives (2 days a week work from home); otherwise in office.
  • Hours of operation are 8am-10pm, 7 days a week with Sundays currently supported via on-call.
  • Shifts will fall within these hours but will likely be evenings and Saturday with the on-call supported by our existing team members. Shifts are assigned and adjusted based on business needs.
