Required immediately, FLOFORM is seeking an experienced Sales Representative for the Calgary area!

FLOFORM Countertops is a Canadian company with its head office in Winnipeg, MB, and has 16 branches and 5 manufacturing facilities located in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. FLOFORM manufactures, sells, and installs over 20,000 premium surface countertops annually. Established in 1961, FLOFORM is proud to be one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 4 – 7 years sales experience
  • Proven ability to proactively grow business in the assigned segment
  • Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office; willingness to learn other software
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Diplomatic and respectful handling of challenging situations
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Effective selling and follow-up skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and goals independently
  • Physical ability to lift between 25-60 lbs
  • Ability to travel locally daily and occasionally work evenings and weekends
  • Valid Driver’s License and criminal record check

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular communication with clients and the company, representing FLOFORM professionally and setting clear expectations
  • Manage an active account list of Architect/Design/GC and Millwork clients in Greenhouse (Moraware)
  • Understand and communicate the company's capabilities, services, and product offerings
  • Promote new products, color lines, and participate in product launches and social media marketing
  • Manage dealer display boards and sample orders
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations
  • Monitor sales trends, report on them, and assist with budgeting
  • Represent FLOFORM at relevant professional associations and conduct client visits to foster loyalty
  • Support commercial projects through order facilitation, color board management, and project tracking
  • Coordinate supply needs when necessary
  • Handle material takeovers for purchasing
  • Provide quotes, enter orders/quotes into the system, and confirm product availability
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, coordinating with other departments as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
