We are seeking an experienced Sales Operations Manager to join our Business Development team in Vancouver, BC. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role ensures our sales team operates efficiently by managing sales data, creating reports, and setting team goals. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and a proven track record in defining sales strategy and operations.
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals to drive revenue growth.
  2. Collaborate with leadership to establish sales targets, forecasts, and KPIs.
  3. Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive insights to inform decisions.
  4. Support onboarding initiatives to develop a high-performing sales team.
  5. Design and deliver training programs to improve skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
  6. Coach and mentor the sales team to ensure best practices and continuous improvement.
  7. Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  8. Identify bottlenecks and opportunities within the sales process.
  9. Monitor sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
  10. Build and maintain sales processes, tools, and systems for efficiency.
  11. Manage CRM data integrity and utilization.
  12. Align sales initiatives with marketing, product, and customer success teams.
  13. Continuously refine sales processes for scalability.
  14. Prepare regular sales performance and pipeline reports for leadership.
  15. Implement tools or technologies to enhance sales operations.
  16. Perform additional duties as assigned by your manager.
Qualifications:
  1. 4-6+ years of experience in sales operations, strategy, or management, preferably in mining or technology sectors.
  2. Proven success with high-performing sales teams.
  3. Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, marketing, or related fields; MBA is a plus.
  4. Financial acumen and understanding of sales profitability and opportunities.
  5. Strong knowledge of sales processes, CRM systems, and pipeline management.
  6. Excellent leadership and coaching skills.
  7. Analytical, data-driven problem solver.
  8. Fluent in English; Spanish skills are an asset.
  9. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  10. Proactive, results-oriented, adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  11. Passionate about team development and collaborative culture.
  12. Legally authorized to work in Canada.

The salary offered will depend on experience, skills, market data, and internal equity, and may be outside the posted range.
