The Position

The Sales Operations Coordinator will play a key role on our Inside Sales team. The incumbent will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, collecting, and analyzing data, and creating recommendations for business improvements. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders is also a vital component of this role.

Reporting Relationships: This role reports directly to our Sales Operations Manager and works closely with the Inside Sales Team.

As a Sales Operations Coordinator, we need your love of business systems and passion for creating efficiencies and improvements.

  • Operating multiple systems throughout the day – acting as the ‘go to ambassador’ for systems information and customer support, when applicable.
  • Routinely multitasking and leveraging multiple types of source documents.
  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams; act as a liaison between operations functions and Sales Teams to manage expectations & data.
  • Maintain and keep current detailed records, reports, and customer data.

  • Customer Focused – Provide exceptional customer service, through focusing on the customer experience and engaging in meaningful interactions.
  • Business Systems – Become an expert of the multiple systems used daily (SAP, Hub Spot, MyMetrie & growing!). Provide support for customers and internal team members while looking for ways to improve.
  • Product Knowledge – Deeply understand our product lines and products. Effectively answer any questions concerning our offerings and ensure customers are connected to the right people and opportunities.
  • Problem Solving – Listen, ask questions, understand our customer needs, and provide the best options. Remain solution-focused in order to identify opportunities to help our customers.

  • You are proficient with web-based computer services, specifically SAP.
  • You have a post-secondary diploma/degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • You have experience within the distribution or manufacturing industry (preferred).
  • Proficient in Excel (bonus).
