Job summary

Lev Senior Living in Brampton is seeking a Sales Manager to lead sales and marketing for the residence. The role focuses on generating leads from individuals, referral groups, and organizations, while delivering exceptional customer service and promoting the community to prospective residents and their families.

The Sales Manager will conduct tours, manage the sales pipeline, and collaborate with local businesses and professionals to grow occupancy.

Responsibilities

  • Drive leads to the residence through community engagement and continuous business development.
  • Manage inbound and outbound sales inquiries, promptly responding to prospective residents and families.
  • Conduct engaging tours, showcasing benefits of the community and creating emotional connections with prospects.
  • Follow up strategically with leads to maintain engagement and move them through the decision-making process.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach, identifying prospects' needs and positioning the community as the ideal solution.
  • Leverage CRM tools to track lead activity, document interactions, and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Ensure occupancy goals and move-in targets are met or exceeded.
  • Provide creative solutions for barriers to move-in such as financial concerns or timing issues.
  • Train and mentor team members on sales best practices, customer engagement, and referral strategies.
  • Collaborate on lead generation plans, network within the community, attend events, and develop referral partnerships.
  • Host and coordinate open houses, education sessions, and family events to engage potential residents and referrals.

Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for providing outstanding customer service in generating sales from individuals, referral groups and organizations. They must demonstrate exceptional understanding of seniors, product knowledge, report/lead base management, and current competitive intelligence. Ability to develop and maintain referral relationships and exceptional sales and marketing skills, are key position responsibilities. As a key representative of our Residence, the Sales manager is expected to empower the management team to support exceptional customer service, while fostering demonstration of company Mission, Vision and Values in all we do.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive leads to the residence through community engagement and continuous business development
  • Manage inbound and outbound sales inquiries, promptly responding to prospective residents and their families.

  • Follow up strategically with leads to maintain engagement and move them through the decision-making process.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach, identifying prospects' unique needs and positioning our community as the ideal solution.
  • Leverage CRM tools to track lead activity, document interactions, and manage the sales pipeline efficiently.
  • Ensure that occupancy goals and move-in targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Provide creative solutions for potential barriers to move-in, such as financial concerns, family objections, or timing issues.
  • Train and mentor team members on sales best practices, customer engagement, and referral strategies.
Lead Generation & Business Development
  • Collaborate, develop and implement a targeted Sales Outreach Plan, identifying new opportunities to generate leads and drive traffic.
  • Actively network within the community, building relationships with healthcare professionals, senior organizations, realtors, social workers, and financial advisors.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to increase brand awareness and establish referral partnerships.
  • Host and coordinate Lunch Learns, information sessions, and educational seminars to engage potential residents and referral partners.
  • Work closely with local businesses, condo property managers, and service organizations to create new referral streams.
  • Lead external outreach efforts, including cold calling, direct visits, and targeted marketing campaigns to generate new business.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and demographic shifts to adjust strategies accordingly.
Community Engagement & Events
  • Develop and execute a community event strategy to attract prospective residents and referral sources.
  • Plan and host open houses, themed events, and family appreciation days to showcase the community's lifestyle.
  • Represent the community at Chamber of Commerce meetings, sponsorships, and local volunteer opportunities to boost visibility.
  • Partner with local organizations to participate in health fairs, senior expos, and charity events.
  • Ensure that marketing materials, presentations, and promotional items are effectively used to support event initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other Sales Manager to developtargeted campaigns that drive occupancy growth.
  • Utilize social media and digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, promote events, and engage with prospects.
  • Oversee the Referral Program, ensuring partners are educated and motivated to refer prospective residents.
  • Monitor website traffic, online inquiries, and engagement metrics to refine marketing strategies.
  • Ensure that model suites and common areas are always tour-ready, creating a strong first impression for visitors.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reports on sales activities, lead generation, conversion rates, and occupancy trends.
  • Analyze CRM data to identify trends, optimize sales strategies, and track key performance indicators (KPls).
  • Work closely with leadership to review sales metrics, adjust tactics, and continuously improve results.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and provide insights to ensure our residence remains a preferred choice in the market.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven success in sales, lead generation, and business development, preferably in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare.
  • Strong closing skills, with the ability to convert inquiries and tours into move-ins.
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking skills, with a passion for connecting with people.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (experience with senior living CRM tools is an asset).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, Including evenings and weekends, to accommodate prospects and community events.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a vehicle for off-site business development activities.
  • Experience in a senior living or retirement community setting is a plus.
