Agilus is recruiting for a Sales Manager in the Steel Industry in Red Deer, Alberta.

You will lead the sales team and provide exceptional customer service and solutions to a wide variety of new and existing customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement industry-leading sales and marketing initiatives to support the branch business plan and meet KPI targets.
2. Work with the senior management team to develop and manage goals, systems, business plans, and operating budgets.
3. Liaise with the Branch Manager and Purchasing Manager to ensure sufficient product availability to meet customer demand while meeting corporate inventory goals.
4. Collaborate with Operations and CAD departments to ensure profitability on metals processing orders.
5. Lead and manage 3-4 sales staff by providing leadership, training, and development for Inside and Outside Sales Representatives.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 3 years of sales management experience within the steel industry.
2. Strong analytical, time management, organizational, and performance management skills.
3. Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing, or Metallurgy.
4. Previous purchasing experience.
