Job description

Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Mississauga Construction & Forestry

Brandt is seeking a Sales Manager responsible for sales growth and profitability of the wholegoods department.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Achieve asset management goals, including turnover, aging, and asset protection, focusing on new and used wholegood inventory
  • Manage inventory mix to meet sales and market share targets
  • Manage and develop sales department staff to build a motivated, successful workforce committed to long-term success
  • Achieve long-term market share goals in collaboration with manufacturer and company strategies
  • Provide feedback on market opportunities and competitive pressures
  • Assist in managing branch accounts receivable with relevant departments
Required Skills:
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate departments, partners, and customers
  • Confident decision-making in financial transactions, sales strategies, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong critical thinking, analysis, and reasoning skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed; a recent driver’s abstract will be required
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • 7+ years of sales management experience
  • Experience in the heavy equipment industry (strongly preferred)
