Job summary

BrandMo Technologies is seeking a Sales Director for Demand Side/Business Development to shape strategy and drive revenue growth within the Demand Side team.

You will lead relationships with senior agency leadership, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and negotiate large client spend while guiding product and marketing inputs.

This role supports a hybrid/remote model, with in-office expectations in our Toronto office for regional work and remote arrangements elsewhere in Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; masters preferred.
• 10-12+ years in digital advertising in outbound sales, preferably programmatic.
• Experience building longstanding, consultative client relationships.
• Hybrid work model: Toronto in-office; remote for other regions.

The base salary range for this role is $100,000 – $120,000 CAD

• Develop a vision and strategy for BrandMo Tech’s business within the Demand Side Business Development team.
• Oversee and build upon relationships with senior leadership at agencies.
• Work cross-functionally with off-shore client services and trading teams to cultivate accounts.
• Participate in product road map build out discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, and marketing.
• Take the lead in structuring and negotiating large client spend endeavors.
• Work closely with product, marketing, and revenue teams to constantly optimize efforts relating to company-wide goals.
• Identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by understanding core client business needs.
• Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unrivaled selling propositions and differentiators.
• Make a positive contribution to BrandMo Tech’s company culture.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s Degree required, masters preferred.
• 10-12+ years of experience in digital advertising in outbound sales, preferably in programmatic.
• Outstanding sales leadership experience, with a track record of up-selling and winning net new accounts.
• Experience working with media agencies and brands on the platform side.
• Experience building longstanding, consultative client relationships.
• Strong quantitative skills and ability to manage commercial negotiations.
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to speak with C-level clients.
• High EQ, with strong executive presence.
• Proven ability to manage within a matrix environment, and collaborate across multiple departments.
• Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising roles preferred.
• This role follows a hybrid work model, with in-office expectations in our Toronto office, and for other regions the role is 100% remote.
