Overview
SOCi, the CoMarketing Cloud for Multi-Location Enterprises, is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our growing team. SDRs identify, qualify, and create opportunities for our sales organization alongside Account Executives and have a clear path to advancing into Account Executive roles.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Collaborate with your Account Executive team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for their territories.
- Work with Account Executives to blueprint key accounts in the territory
- Call into key accounts to set up discovery calls and demos
- Run discovery calls on accounts identified by Account Executives
- Drive deals to their next phase in collaboration with Account Executives
- Identify expansion opportunities for our largest and most strategic customers
- Close the transactional business for the AE team
- Assist with in-territory gifting programs
- Assist with in-territory events
- Pre- and post-conference outreach
- Collaborate with Account Executives and marketing to source sales enablement collateral
What You’ll Need to be Successful
- Hybrid Opportunity: Ability to work 100% remotely with future in-office time in Vancouver or Toronto required
- Must Have:
- A self-starter with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding goals
- Proven time management skills and ability to work independently or through coaching
- Excellent communication skills (phone and written) and experience building pipelines in inside sales roles
- Ability to work with intrinsic motivation and collaborative teamwork
- Strong drive for success, high work ethic, and curiosity
- Ability to communicate business impact of a portfolio solution to technical and business customers
- Experience using Salesforce.com
- Ability to manage multiple software tools and position multiple products to achieve goals
- Desire to work in a competitive, fast-paced environment
- Willing to adapt to changes in the job description as needed
- Desired Skills (but not required):
- 1 year prospecting and pipeline generation for SaaS (mid-market to enterprise) in a dynamic environment
- Experience supporting enterprise field teams in a multi-product SaaS environment
Compensation
SOCi expects to pay a base salary of CAD 47,000 to 65,000 plus bonuses/commission. Within the range, pay is determined by skills, experience, and education or training.
