Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Sales Associate in Sherbrooke to provide fast, friendly service by actively engaging customers and assessing their needs. You will share product knowledge, guide customers to complete projects, and promote Home Depot services to ensure overall satisfaction.

This role emphasizes customer engagement, knowledge of department and adjacent products, and a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, in a warehouse-style retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years retail or trade experience an asset.
• No travel requirements.
• Physical requirements include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items.

Responsibilities

• Follow Home Depot’s GET Model: greet, engage, and thank the customer.
• Escort customers to appropriate merchandise across departments.
• Ask open-ended questions to determine customer needs.
• Promote services such as Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, Pro Services.
• Discuss options (good, better, best) and suggest related items outside the department.
• Educate customers about the whole project and maintain product knowledge.
• Execute daily stock maintenance: ensure products are signed, displayed, and clean.
