Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Sales Associate to provide fast, friendly service by proactively assisting customers in the store. You will use department knowledge to explain product features and related items, greet customers, and help guide their projects from start to finish.

You will engage customers, understand their needs, promote services like Tool Rental and Pro Desk, and maintain stock and store cleanliness while following safety and loss-prevention policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years retail or trade experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and thank every customer in the department.
• Actively seek customers and escort to appropriate merchandise.
• Ask open-ended questions to determine customer needs and their level of expertise.
• Promote services such as Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, Pro Services, etc.
