What you’ll do – The opportunity

Position: Sales Coordinator

Location: Calgary, Alberta

Level: Individual Contributor

Hiring Range: $52,300 to $65,300

Description:

Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, the Sales Coordinator provides centralized administrative support for the provincial Sales team. This is a hybrid work model with 2 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

Communication:

  • Respond to general sales and customer inquiries, or direct to appropriate parties as required
  • Communicate internal and external correspondence and coordinate distribution of weekly mail outs for the Sales team


Sales Support:

  • Organize sales meeting requirements for the region
  • Coordinate and assist in executing special events, including maintaining the Sales cage
  • Coordinate with the POS fulfillment company to ensure proper order fulfillment and follow up on related issues
  • Track and maintain sales contract documentation as required


Administration:

  • Provide administrative support for the Sales team
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for Sales team members
  • Track and report Sales Representative expenses
  • Process invoices, expenses, and company credit cards for the Sales team
  • Organize event sponsorships and trade shows as needed
  • Track and report on Sales team vacation and sick days
  • Compile and coordinate new employee orientation materials and assist in onboarding
  • Source suppliers and POS items for special requests
  • Manage Sales fleet administration and tracking
  • Track and report taxable benefits for event tickets and prepaid credit cards, forwarding to payroll
  • Track, distribute, and report on beer vouchers for employees and promotional purposes
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative support role
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Experience working in a sales environment is an asset
  • Exceptional client service skills
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Beverage alcohol industry experience is an asset


Working Conditions

  • Travel may be required
  • Overtime may be required
