The role involves developing deep, long-lasting customer relationships to increase sales, service, and loyalty. Sales Consultants are expected to sell a minimum of $1MM annually on full commission, with additional client development tools available upon reaching this target.

Responsibilities include:

  • Selling the entire store and wardrobe to customers
  • Building long-term customer relationships
  • Developing new customers and introducing them to Holt Renfrew
  • Staying updated on fashion trends and advising clients accordingly
  • Focusing on customer needs and preferences
  • Demonstrating product and style expertise
  • Performing visual merchandising, stock replenishment, and sales support tasks
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, privacy, and cybersecurity policies
  • Performing other assigned duties

Candidate profile:

  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets
  • Knowledge of wardrobing and styling techniques
  • Strong relationship-building skills and empathy
  • Team-oriented and collaborative
  • Entrepreneurial, competitive, confident, and self-motivated
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a commission-based sales environment; luxury retail experience preferred
