Responsibilities related to the Sales Consultant position:

• Greet customers, build trust, and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Assist customers in choosing a vehicle by asking questions and carefully listening to their answers to fully understand their needs.
• Explain product performance, operation, and benefits to potential customers, either in the showroom or via email.
• Describe any optional equipment the customer could purchase.
• Offer test drives to all potential customers. Follow dealership procedures to obtain the appropriate identification from the customer before the test drive.
• Professionally explain the terms of long-term leasing versus traditional purchase based on the customer's needs.
• Gather the required information and complete all necessary paperwork to prepare for a sale.
• Communicate with customers within 48 hours of the sale to ensure their satisfaction, resolve any issues, and ask questions.
• Understand the concepts of fairness and residual value and be able to explain the principle of depreciation to customers.
• Negotiate the price and obtain approval for the transaction from the sales manager.
• Notify the sales manager of any exchanges, refunds, or credit notes.
• Submit 100% of completed transactions to the sales manager, along with all duly completed documentation (insurance information, transaction title, etc.).
• Prepare and properly inform the customer to optimize the meeting with the sales manager.
• Define, obtain management approval for, and monitor personal annual sales targets.
• Review and analyze activities at the end of each day, week, month, and year to organize time more effectively. Stay informed about new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits for customers.
• Know and understand all federal, provincial, and municipal laws governing retail automobile sales.
• Attend product and sales training courses as directed by the Sales Manager.

Delivery-Related Duties:

• Inspect sold vehicles for delivery to customers before their arrival.
• Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand operating features, warranty information, and required paperwork.
• Introduce customers to the service department to highlight the quality and efficiency of the dealership's repair and maintenance services.
• Schedule the first service appointment.
• After delivery, follow up on accessories, documentation, and other special requests promised to the customer to ensure all their expectations are met.
