Job summary

Virgin Active in Canada is seeking a full-time front-of-house role within the Acquisitions team to enhance member experiences and drive monthly membership growth. You will be the main contact for members, support club operations, and help create a welcoming atmosphere across the club.

You will also own membership targets and provide expert guidance on exercise experiences and Virgin Active offerings, while delivering outstanding service and supporting club management when needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact for members, elevating their member experience at every touchpoint and addressing member inquiries with meticulous standards of administration and support.
• Create a presence and a warm, inviting atmosphere throughout the club, from Front of House to new member visits.
• Take ownership of membership targets, striving for excellence in sales, retention, and growth every month.
• Ensure all activity targets are met to achieve desired net growth.
• Tailor membership offerings to meet individual needs and expand corporate memberships to prospects within the immediate locality of the club.
• Provide advice on all activities related to Exercise Experience and products offered by Virgin Active.
• Support the smooth operation of the club and consistently provide exceptional customer service to all.
• Take on the responsibilities of the Duty Shift as needed, demonstrating flexibility and dedication to the needs of the business and leading by example in all aspects of club management.

About the Role

The role sits within the Acquisitions team and contributes to meeting monthly membership goals for sales and growth, with a focus on data and revenue. It acts as a point of contact for members, supports club operations, and helps create a welcoming atmosphere. The position is full time, 40 hours per week.
