Job summary

Wine Rack is hiring a Wine Merchant in Pickering, ON. You will deliver exceptional customer service, gain wine education through our training program, and work in a fun store environment with a flexible schedule.

The role emphasizes engaging with customers, performing POS transactions, merchandising, and contributing to community events while meeting shift targets.

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer experience in-store.
• Retail experience is an asset for fast onboarding.
• Capable of handling POS transactions and merchandising tasks.
• Meet and exceed shift targets and work in a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 19 years or older with high school or equivalent education.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Able to lift up to 21 kilograms and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selections and recommendations.
• Perform POS transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Receive shipments and restock shelves; merchandise displays.
• Participate in community events and in-store festivals.
• Support team to meet daily and shift targets.

• 19 years of age or older. High School or equivalent education is required.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job include lifting up to 21 kilograms, standing, reaching, bending and climbing ladders.
