Job Description:
Our client, a is seeking an experienced and results-driven salesperson to join their energetic team.
They are in search of a Sales Associate to focus on new account development in the wholesale food and beverage sector.
Job Responsibilities:
- Require a Sales Representative with a hunter sales mentality, to generate new revenue and meet and exceed sales revenue targets.
- Developing and qualifying prospective sales leads within territory assigned to drive additional sales opportunities, either by cold-calling or network lead generation.
- Establishes accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential clients.
- Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential target markets.
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Services existing accounts by obtaining orders, recommending further products, resolving customer concerns by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area demographics and customer sales.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Individual must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
- Proven track record, and minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in sales and especially within the food and beverage industry a definite asset.
- Ability to work remotely.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Aptitude for prospecting new business, developing Client relationships, negotiation, and persuasion.
- Highly motivated, determined, and target driven.
- Expert in time management and personal organization.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but may accept relevant experience.
